Document management and imaging software author, V1 Document Management, is showcasing its Sage integrated document management and imaging solutions on booth 819 at Sage Summit 2009 (9 – 12 November 2009, Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta).
V1 Document Management’s products integrate into Sage ERP and Sage CRM systems, enabling business documents (invoices, purchase orders, statements etc.) to be electronically created, stored, retrieved, delivered and authorized directly from organizations’ Sage systems.
Using V1 Document Management, companies cuts the costs, staff time and errors associated with manually handling, storing and processing paper documents. In addition, V1 Document Management’s data capture system, which uses the latest optical character recognition (OCR) technology, enables businesses to cut the manual data entry of invoice information by up to 90 per cent.
Lynne Munns, Vice President of V1 Document Management, says, “Manual, paper-based processes are time-consuming, costly and environmentally unsound. Paper documents can also be easily lost, damaged and altered, putting businesses at risk.”
By moving to electronic document management and imaging systems, organizations are provided with a secure and safe repository for all their business documents. Storing, delivering and authorizing documents directly from Sage also improves efficiency, cut costs and supports both compliance and organizations’ environmental policies.
Munns adds, “Businesses using V1 Document Management’s solutions integrated into their Sage systems are reporting many thousands of dollars cost savings as well as a payback within just six months.”
